If you have a decent sized pond I would go for duck number two. If you don't then go for indian runners as they can manage perfectly well without water in which to swim. Do you intend to keep ducks for your table or for eggs and the fun of having them around? I don't think that duck number three will lay and it will produce very rubbery meat as a table bird. Actually I would prefer Aylesbury ducks.

The second duck is a Khaki Campbell. Those and the runner ducks I read are both excellent layers so that why I chose them. Perhaps eventually as table birds, but more egg layers. I plan to build a pond for them... I need to make a duck flap so that the ducks can get out but the chickens cant...I wonder how I would do that...

Good Intentions
The first duck definatley has the most charisma. tongue.gif

Duck two is a little conformist for my taste - I mean just look at that profile it screams 3 china ducks flying up your grandmas wall.

And number three, is a factory reject - maybe someone could give him the number for

what are you on about! lost his arms... I didn't think they had ARMS, unless they were military ducks, decoy ducks perhaps.
What nonsense! biggrin.gif

It's a bit thin though isn't it - with or without arms - shouldn't ducks be plump and fluffy?

3 eyed duck!
chocolatedog
Rubber ducks are great fun - you can play with them in the bath (which the other two may just object to....) - you can sink them, make them blow bubbles, squirt water everywhere.....etc (BTW why does it have 3 eyes??? blink.gif blink.gif

You'd have to be 'quackers' not to vote in this poll......

The Indian Runner duck is clearly anorexic and well below Size Zero - it ought not to be modelling on the catduck-walk, it sets a bad example to other ducks angry.gif

The Khaki Campbell is wearing feathers that were in fashion donkeys years ago and should not have been entered into such a prestigious competition.

The only duck showing some originality is the 3-eyed duck. And if you can find another 3-eyed duck to mate it with, you'd have ducklings with 6 eyes, including in the back of their heads so that they can see when foxes are approaching.... a masterpiece of genetic engineering...

I would say the third duck but for the eyes.

Don't you need a stringed instrument if you're going to "bow" unsure.gif

Would need the lid off, and they could "fly you" on a wire so you could get to the strings.
