Hi, this is Pophammy!

I am new to this forum, and am glad I have found it!

I have been playing the flute for about 6 years now, and have done my Grades 2,3,4 and 5. I got a merit for Grade 2, a pass for Grade 3, a merit for Grade 4 and a distinction for Grade 5. I am sitting my Grade 5 Theory in June, so that I can get on with my flute Grades, and that is the main reason I joined here! Anyone who has sat their theory, what age did you take it at because I am 12 and find it quite hard!

My other main interest is hamsters! I LOOOOVE hamsters and I breed and show Syrians. I have 5 in total, and though you will probably find this boring, they are called Nelson (black-eyed cream), Bailey (cinnamon satin), Paws (black-eyed cream satin), Little Red (longhaired red-eyed cream) and (wait for it...) Sonesta Tabasco Pancetta Pizzetta Houdini Martini Malibu Swiss Roll Presley Melba Cassowarie Mulligatawny Sheilla Crusty Cob Prosciutto Panini Spaghetti Pochettino Custard, or Sonni for short (golden).
(I got Pochettino from my list of musical words which I need to know!) Sonni, Red and Paws are the children of Nelson (Dad) and Bailey (Mum). Nelson is 2 years old, Baily 1 1/2, and Paws, Red and Sonni 1.

hi i love hamsters too mine is call margo she has a rota stak cage which is huge!! i must have spent nearly 300.00 pounds all told its taking over the house!!

i am a flutie too and am playing grade three bits at the moment i am useless at theory but there are loads of people here to help you

do your hamsters like the flute mine loves it and looks really cute swaying along to the music

Thanks for the welcomes, everyone! Yes, my hams do like the flute! One of my old hamsters (who has died now ) used to be 'charmed' by the flute and would just sit there staring at it!

Good luck with your theory in June. (don't worry, it is hard, but once the exam is over it is such a relief and you'll feel a sense of achievement). I did my gr.5 theory when I was 14.

i use to have a hamster called cookie. she was white with brown patches on her back so we thought they looked like chocolate chips!

They are very cute! I have a hamster called Monty, he's an albino syrian, He's been stuck in a bassoon and a saxophone so he's not so keen on the instrument front at the moment!
Anyway, I sat my grade 5 theory when I was about 14, I only just passed but I didnt do any work for it. I've just done grade 8 theory last saturday now age 20!
