I thought it was just for A2.
There's a five minute final performance for AS. The A2 is 20 minutes.

Yes, for Edexcel you have to do 5-6 minute one for AS and a 20 minute one at A2. Basically what Andante said

Sorry I haven't got back earlier. I'm delighted that it went well, but had this sneeky inkling it would. Welcome to the world of recitals...build on this experience whatever you get in your A2...its tremendous fun, yes I do feel nervous before hand but the buzz afterwards is worth all of that. When your at uni, try to get some experience playing like this and maybe try some chamber music. Sooner or later at this rate you'll be considering your dipabrsm!

I'm definitely going to keep on playing. My flute teacher is calling on her contacts and we're trying to find the best teacher I can find in either Durham (hopefully) or York! I might do my Dip. one day, but just want to enjoy playing. Plus, I have so much to learn knowledge wise, so I don't think I'll be taking it for a while
