I commented a few days ago I regularly look up terms or composers that I don't know when I come across them on this thread - like I said, it's really useful, and entertaining too

MOODY TUNES was second at 5-1 this afternoon, but MUSICAL CHIMES was 3rd at 50-1 ! That would have
been good eachway bet !

and ORCHESTRATOR (3.00 Folkestone)
Less fancied is MUSICAL SCRIPT (3.20 Wolverhampton)

If you class MEDLEY (8.10 Mewmarket) as being musical, it maybe has the best chance of any of them.

Ah well the afternoon runners all failed . Maybe MEDLEY will do something.

I don't suppose they're likely to name a horse after a bird either!

They might do skylark! I bet a horse named after a bird would positively fly round the racetrack!

I suppose it's just possible you'll find one called after me !

well i was just going to have a pound on suite francaise, went to the will hill website, and it's not listed in any of the musselburgh races, so it must have woke up this morning with a headache !! what a shame

Oh dear I cant legislate for non runners, but its definitely listed in the morning papers.

Serious apologies for going slightly off topic here...

..but my dog's registered kennel name is Rilloby Carlotta Mia (from Phantom of the Opera) and she's qualified for Crufts 2008! She also won Best Puppy in Breed at the Scottish Kennel Club Championship show in May, and has a Best Puppy in Group and a Best Puppy in Show at 'open' level.

She's quite a diva and 'sings' to me quite often...

None of my other dogs have musical associations though...

FUSCHIA has a very good chance in the 4.40 at Warwick. It might be favourite at 11-4 ish
Theres also RED BLOSSOM (Lingfield 3.20) and TIGER LILLY (Lingfield 3.55)

However I havent the time to trawl though flowers as well as birds and the musical ones.
From tomorrow I will only do the musical ones . (Sorry Skylark and other 'birds')
