Ive been really busy with exams at uni recently and havent had the time to practice at all for the past 2 weeks. Picked up my flute yesterday and although my sound wasnt too bad, breathing was very bad, I just sounded awful as if If Id never looked at any of my diploma pieces before! Not a good thing when its 2 months till my diploma!
Good thing is Im pretty much finished with exams from this weekend onwards so can go full time with my music. Any suggestions about what I should do to get back to where I was before I stopped practising?

If you're breathing is giving you trouble, why not incorporate breathing exercises into your daily routine. This means that even when you're not practising you can make sure you're up to scratch!

Lots of slow work (Moyse- De la sonorite) on semitones/tones etc and harmonics. They are the things that I always tried to keep doing when I had small children and practice time was limited.
