Hi,
I was introduced to the ABRSM Forums a few weeks ago - I'm hooked and have plucked up the courage for my 1st posting ohmy.gif
A bit about myself - I'm 45 and a born-again pianist (well almost !). My wife teaches flute and I've recently started accompanying for her pupils' exams. I'm loving it - even though it has exposed years of technique neglect!
Going through a period of self-improvement (plenty of Bach and Chopin) before looking for formal lessons.
Looking forward to a bumpy ride !

glad to hear you have joined us if its not too nosey where abouts in hampshire are you personal message me if you would prefer the reason i ask is the i am in hampshire too learning flute and had trouble finding a teacher that was local.

Well yes I think most of us are pretty nice really (except for Carol - don't really know about her tongue.gif )

One word of advice, beware! these forums can be very addictive tongue.gif .
There are some really lovely people on here, you should fit in just fine smile.gif .

The computer I use is in my Mum + Dad's room and they aren't very impressed when it's say 12:00 at night and i'm still typing away. I was very good the other day and resisted the temptation to go on here.......whoopsy, next day I spent nearly the whole day on the forums. smile.gif
