The weather was so bad for poor Bagpuss trying to get to the Scillies that they eventually put her on a boat yesterday which took FOUR AND A HALF HOURS to get there.

Two sick bags later she arrived...

Which makes three sick Bags (full) ??
This is really Scilly weather for summer...

Reminds me of a trip to Ireland on a SeaCat a few years ago. NEVER again! I was so bad I wanted to jump overboard!! Ruined the rest of my holiday

Mmm, yes, I had a similar experience on a ferry over to the Isle of Man. Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE experience!

Oh, poor Bag...

It's rained very heavily here for most of the day. The wallpaper department at work started to flood at one point. You'd think we would be used to the rain here!

We've had alternate heavy rain and lovely sunny interludes.... Of course, the sun came out just as I rode my bike up my drive!

We had a similar experience a few years ago on a north sea ferry from Newcastle to Stavanger in Norway.

Self and OH, (both ill) one seasick baby, and a bright-eyed and bushy tailed toddler demanding food. Nightmare. I'm usually pretty ok on water but not this time.

Low spot was walking the boat at midnight with a fretful babe, and having to hand her to a complete stranger so I could dive into the ladies' and ...

19 hour crossing ---- joy !
We did survive to enjoy the holiday. Hope Bag does too!

Apparently today the weather on the Scillies was alternate sun and gales - Bag still managed to do an 8 mile walk in it although I think sunbathing on the beach is out of the question...

Todays weather was weird where i am....

It started off with a torrential downpour, then went to sunshine that split the trees. Then we had a little shower, and then back to torrential. And finally the day ended with a nice little sunshine spot again

Very grey and overcast here. Clouds moving swiftly but the rain has stopped. That is welcome because I have to go out later and have to walk to my destination.
