Almost completely cloudy in Headingley, but they're a bit whiter than yesterday, and I can just spot a couple of patches of blue.

Completely grey and cloudy on the Wirral. Will probably rain.
Yesterday drove home for Suffolk, lovely day when we left, and it just gradually deteriorated all the way back. Maybe better in Headingley tomorrow.

Sunny and blue sky until a few minutes ago, now there is a huge grey cloud moving in from the south west. Another day of rain like yesterday probably

We didn't get the forecast storm yesterday, so the boys' archery tournament was uninterrupted - mostly sunny and about five drops of rain. No rain last night but the wind was gusting hard.
Today is grey.

I drove to Liverpool airport this afternoon and had the worst drive of my life. The rain was almost too heavy to see in some places and there was so much surface water on the roads that it was quite unsafe. There was fog on the way back and now we have more heavy rain. Flippin' weather!

Horrid to drive in - frightening. Glad you're back safe and sound. A friend coming back from Cornwall the other day had to leave the motorway and take a different route home, because the spray was so bad he just couldn't see where he was going. It wasn't as bad as that when I drove back a couple of weeks ago (and I did hardly any motorway), but it was bad enough - I had backache for three days afterwards and I'm sure it was because driving in bad weather makes me so tense.

As grey as yesterday but at least it's not raining. Yesterday it rained solidly all day and there was a flood alert for Leeds but it was nothing like the floods in South Wales.
