I have to go out in my car and I'm worried about the roads being icy because we're so far into the sticks we haven't seen a gritter go past yet... sad.gif wacko.gif

Snow here too. Just a light covering first thing, about half an inch, and nothing coming down. But in the past half hour it's started snowing again.

Snow in the midlands. Around 3 inches, frosty and has just snowed again. Schools open though.....phew rolleyes.gif

Same here - though it has now stopped, the sun is out and the snow is melting quickly.

Snow on the ground here, and very cold.

Nothing falling just at the moment, but an unpleasantly white-grey sky looks a bit ominous sad.gif

I have no idea why snow makes me absurdly happy - I love watching it snow and the way the world looks when covered in snow - sort of sleepy and peaceful.

(I also think I must be 34 going on 5... tongue.gif )

But yay! Snow!

The mountains had a covering of snow today but all we got was a little rain. It is very cold and clear again now and the landrover is a block of frost.

When I got into my car at the Weetwood Hotel (Leeds) this morning at 7.15 it was minus 4 deg, but no ice at all to scrape because of the dry atmosphere.

was -3 when I left this morning and although sunny-ish, it's very low which makes driving not so much fun as I squinted my way down the road! Also tons and tons of ice everywhere!

I like snow BUT it has half melted and re frozen. Sheets of ice everywhere. very slippery.

Very cold again here and clouding over too, so any weather will perhaps fall as snow.gif .
Grandson was trying to dig a little patch in his tiny garden plot yesterday and was upset because it was solid. sad.gif

Stormy! Gusts of upto 100 mph. So guess what?.....No ferries, which means no papers, perishables running out in the shops, unreliable mail, more garden fence gone, and car needing repair after storm damage. Sometimes I wonder why I chose to live on a remote island!
