FREEZING! And I honestly do mean that! I'm currently wearing 2 jumpers and a hoody and a scarf...and ugg boots and jeans and fluffy socks, and I'm shivering. They need to turn the school's heating on, and/or invest in double glazing, and maybe think about getting some sort of carpet or something to keep some warmth in. (I'm in a stone tower at the moment - tres Harry Potter!)

Do they actually take the leaves off the trees? Very cold here, unless I've just been sitting still too long, or I've caught the swine flu from the OH.
A bit grey and dreary...
It was awful first thing up on the hill above Otley, - throwing it down within a moderate mist, though quite mild (13 deg at 7am). Its still grey now in Horsforth, but not raining just at the moment.
Lovely and sunny, but definitely chilly.
Quite cold and misty early this morning but now the sun is breaking through and it promises to be another sunny day.
It's been nowt but drizzle all day!

Much drier today - might even see some sunshine!
On the Wirral, it started grey and dingy, but some blue sky is appearing now. It feels quite mild , was 13 deg at 7.15.
A bit grey, but at least it's dry...

Sunny and quite cold. Just put the heating on for Sonny Jim's trumpet lesson - I don't mind freezing, but I don't want to chill the trumpet teacher!

The cold isn't so much of a problem, it's dragging yourself out of bed on a dark, damp morning that is really horrible

...Yeah but it does mean darker mornings soon.. my dog has started to bark the moment it gets light since he lost most of his sight so at least i get a bit more sleep

Well two posts ago I was saying it was raining at home. Now I am in Berlin and the weather is beautiful!

Just had a check of the BBC website, most of the heavy stuff appears to be east of us...
Though having run the rain radar on the website, Friday night/Saturday morning doesn't look too clever...

Greygreygrey... I love autumn, but that's mostly because of all the red and orange foliage, but there's none of that around here!
