It's sunny spells, breezy and quilte pleasant in Worcestershire. I've a friend coming down from The Wirral for the day, and I've just taken out of the oven a bacon, mushroom and St Agur quiche, and a tomato, broccolli and cheddar quiche. Big daughter has done a Victoria Sandwich. It's a nice day.

It seems that none of us have had any weather worth posting about for a few days. Today is very hot and sunny already. It looks as if a certain forum member was right about the heat wave. (Or it could have been our sundance!)

Left Wirral at 6.50am in bright sunshine, but then fog patches around Manchester.
In Headingley now is mainly white cloud cover with a few patches of blue sky. I guess the sun might breakthrough soon.
