We still have not seen any snow on the Wirral this winter. It rained a bit overnight. Temp was +1 when I went for a paper. Its +3 now. Sky is just grey all over.

It snowed a bit last night for the first time this winter in Southampton! not a huge amount but enough to be exciting (and cold!) to walk home in at 10:30pm! All gone now though so having to trek into uni with a headache and everypart of my body aching from yesterday!

Well I'm no too far away from you and it hasn't been too cold here. There's no sign of any frost outside ar the moment as I just went out to the dustbin. I'd say it was about 2-3 deg c

Absolutely freezing, won't be doing anything with cars today which means I'll probably be on my piano

There is still snow on the ground here but it has not been too bad to stop driving even last Sunday.
The sun is out today, now if the weather looked like this but it was about 25 degrees I'd be happy!

15 degrees celsius below. Something like minus 23 with the wind chill factor.
Going down to minus 19 (28 below with wind chill) overnight and not going back up significantly tomorrow. Am I mad to be planning to go skating on the canal, or what???
Ferocious central heating has dried out my oboe and reeds to the point of being practically unplayable.

Commiserations - I went to Canada one year for Christmas (not such a great idea).

Climate round here seems to have settled on "sub-Arctic Tundra" style weather: heavy overcast gloom, dry and cold. Temperature yesterday was 1C at best - but I don't think it moved much. We've avoided teh snow and freezing rain.

Weather here is so warm

It is above 0 C - not by much at the moment, but still it's positive. And, most importantly, due to remain that way for at least the next week! I don't mind if the remaining snow doesn't melt, it will just be nice to not have ice everywhere and eighteen layers of clothes on!

Warmer tomorrow, Bag...

Fairly tropical round here +3 C. Have just been out and about in the car and it seems to vary from +4 to O C which is rather nicer than minus something. However, the snow looks as though it's settled in for the duration - it's all still on the tops of hedges and bushes.

Pipes frozen two days running - running water on the south side of the house only. It is really raw - we were down to minus 7 last night - no snow - just horrid hard frost. It was sunny for a while late morning and early afternoon but I am wearing three layers, and two pairs of socks plus boots -indoors!
