Today is cloudy-bright.

Not too bad here but I have a feeling the temperature will drop by a few degrees as I head north to Inverness...

but maybe compensated for by the warmth of the welcome ? let's hope so!
It most certainly has been! The most lovely bunch of people to work with (including a lovely Icelandic guy SOOO enthusidatic about his first Kodaly experience - 'I think I'm far too stuck in the Associated Board' was his comment

). I must say I was slightly bemused by finding that the only Gaelic speaker in my group was Australian!
My dad has been on Loch Ness today and it's the most beautiful afternoon - I want to stay here, not go back to grotty Kings Cross tomorrow!

Was absolutely chucking it down when I left Wirral at 6.30. Several minor accidents in M56 and M62, took me a horrendous 3 hrs 5mins to get to the office in Headingley. But its much brighter now.

It was 3 degrees this morning when I woke up. Standing at the bus stop, we could see our breath on the air and we went into school to find that the heating was still on low (well, it is only September). And of course we have the rule which states that you can't wear coats inside...
It's still warm in Cyprus though *dreams*...
