Love the car ad! Hate Barry Scott, he shouts all the time wacko.gif
Miss Ross
Which car is the advert for? It seems it's probably making more people go out and buy cake than go and buy a car laugh.gif

Yeah, I know I want it - in fact I'm going to add it to my wishlist... along with the cuppasoup hug... I've always wanted one of them!
Miss Ross
The cuppasoup hug looks goood! biggrin.gif

I'd rather have one of those than a Skoda any day!
superpyroman
I personally, wouldn't buy a car made of cake. I doubt it would last very long and would probably have a bad milage.

From the press release which came out the day before the ad first aired:

"The country's finest chocolatiers, bakers and bricklayers were enlisted to construct the scrumptious Škoda and they really have come up with the tastiest model yet! You’ll be amazed at the craftsmanship on display, astounded by the ingenuity of the design and dumbfounded at the amount of syrup involved. "

Hang on ... bricklayers?

News just in: they were going to divide up the car/cake and give it to schools, charities and hospitals, but realised that after several days under studio lights it was going to present a health and safety issue! So it's been composted, and will be used as fertiliser by the residents of Clapton. No, really.

I didn't think it through that far. Maybe it's a tourism thing? Come and see the Incredible Skoda Fabia Cake Flowers Of Clapton! I'd like to see the Britain In Bloom organisers deal with that one.
