If it's any consolation, they didn't deserve to lose, they were the better team. The first goal was a pure fluke!

Sorry, MrB. I've always had a soft spot for Liverpool, and they didn't deserve this. sad.gif I remember what it feels like from last year too - at least you didn't have your keeper dismissed. ph34r.gif

All in all, it was a naff final, just like the FA Cup one. Bad end to a good season.

Yeah theres a lot of long faces here on Merseyside this morning sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif ill.gif
Loads of plane coming in over by house this morning, presumable form Athens as we are 6 miles due west of the runway. Most days they land the other way.
150 fans never got there because of a technical fault on one plane. Flight was cancelled. They were furious and it will have cost them too. They all had tickets.

Throughout the match Liverpool played better, Milan's first goal was a fluke.

I'll say one word! hand-ball.

LFC were robbed. So no mention of a Northern Italian City, home of La Scala and the italian fashion industry. I would not want to use an offensive word infornt of Mr Bouffant!

I support Tottenham wink.gif so it didn't bother me too much who won. Except quite a lot of people i saw today were a bit...annoyed...to put it mildly. Quite funny for me, really - seeing as we never get that far - i can just see others annoyed!

As Benitez always says: "You have to take your chances", and that's what Liverpool didn't do unfortunately.

Well as a Queen's Park fan i'm completely neutral, except for the Scottish side of things. I'm just glad it wasn't an all England Final. The key lesson the organisers should learn is to hold all their finals in Scotland laugh.gif
