Here am I, a technophile and recording engineer sitting in on a music Forum.

Yes, I normally inhabit places like the Sound on Sound Forum, helping home studio wannabes chose the right equipment.

But I find it so refreshing looking in here with people talking about the performance of music.

It helps keep me sane - thank you one and all.

After all - the performance of music is what it's all about - a real musician playing his/her heart out with passion (not the mechanical overdubbing of notes).
