YELlow! ^^ I'm A:TLA (Well, duh. laugh.gif), and I'm new here (Another duh. laugh.gif).

Lurvely name I have, don't I? laugh.gif

Welp, in case you people were wondering, it's the abbreviated form of "Avatar: The Last Airbender." XD (Long story how I got that name.)

Yes, I'm a hardcore Avatar Fan, AKA an Avatard, and I've just finished taking the Piano Grade 8 Exam...which I think I could've done better on. X-x;;

ANYWAY...

I like to draw and make computer-generated images. ^^ Uh...Let's see...Erm...Oh! I'm 12, I have an awesome piano teacher, my whereabouts are unknown in case any stalkers are here (laugh.gif Joking, joking. laugh.gif). Eh...People say I'm VERY random, outgoing, happy and upbeat...etc...but I have a hot temper--but it doesn't get fired up to its highest extent very often...So don't make me mad. XDDD

Anyway, this place seems like an interesting place and I could actually get some help with my piano!!! laugh.gif

Furlies!,

Hi!

Welcome to the forums wave.gif Hopefully you'll find us a friendly bunch!

What did you play for your grade 8 exam?
A:TLA
Hey, everyone! ^^ Thanks for the warm welcome! ^^ You people are more friendly than practically all of the other forums/sites I visited...O_o'

I played:

Technique <-- didn't do that very well...heh heh...<<;; ;;>>

Sonata in G Major, op. 42, no. 2, First Movement by Ludwig van Beethoven
Nocturne No. 5 in B flat Major, H 37 by John Field
Invention No. 13 in A Minor by Johann Sebastion Bach
Evening at the Village by Bela Bartok

^ All memorized and played them well

Morning Bell, op. 109, no. 9 by Burgmuller
Song of the Waterfall by Loeschhorn

^ Played them well

Ear Training <-- Oh, jeez...X-x;;

...So, overall, I spent more of my time practicing my PIECES instead of doing my Technique and Ear Training...XDDD

Now I learned to SPEND EQUAL AMOUNTS OF TIME on each of the categories!!! XDDD

(Thank God my theory exam isn't until December. XP)

Ooh! Cute emoticons!!! :3 <3 :notes: jumpin.gif rofl.gif yay.gif goodNight.gif eek.gif

They're all adowable...<3 <3 <3

Which board did you take your exam with? I can't imagine having to memorize 4 pieces for grade 8 and then having to play another 2 aswell!!
A:TLA
Royal American Conservatory.
