I havent got my grade 1 piano exam dat yet...all i know is that it is in June!!!
My teacher says she hasnt bin infomred yet...she's has entered me along with a few other students.
Who hasnt got there date yet if they are doing a exam..?

As I have applied online I also regularly log in to check if a date will be displayed with my submitted form but no (they probably don't put it online anyway)

I haven't even got my date for the jazz exam which is only held in the week commencing 11th June. PANIC!

Actually, I think it is a bit unfair as I have to give notice that I will need time off work.

I did get my jazz exam date last week. I asked my teacher to tell the AB to try and avoid the 11th and the 13th when I've got GCSE exams. And I got told I was given the 11th (I was given 16:14, but I've got 2 exams that day and I wouldn't get back home until around 15:20, which won't be enough time to get there). This would've been at ABRSM HQ, but if I can't get another date there, then I'll probably be back off to Billericay again...

Exam dates all arrive in the post and are not available to see online regardless of how you make the entry.

I can understand it is a big job for ABRSM to sort out hundreds/thousands of exams...but I think they should try and 're-look' at the way they do it as some people only get 10/14 days notice and for me this would NOT be enough in my job, I need minimum 4 weeks notice to sort out my work shifts.
When my exam date comes through if I am rostered to work and cannot swap shift with a colleague I'll have to ask ABRSM to try and find me a different date/venue, and if they can't? what then? can I have a refund and reapply another time (even though would not be happy about this but better than losing my fee).
Of course in due time if the situation arises I will call them and ask, I hope it doesn't get to that.

Just rang up and got mine (being posted out in a day or 2). Both jazz sax grade 5 and classical clarinet grade 7 on 19th June (agghhh!).

Argh!!! I just got my exam date through the post - unfortunately it's for the only time during the exam period that I can't attend! I'm going to ring up and ask if they can possibly change it, even if I have to go to another centre I don't mind as long as I don't have to cancel altogether and reapply for the next session.

I was still waiting for my date and sent them 3 e-mails over past month with no reply so I called them yesterday and they had a date (only they were going to write to me IN A FEW DAYS TIME ).
Anyway...my date is the 29th june, they said 'just before 5pm' in croydon exam centre
anyone else is taking it in croydon that afternoon? we could share the anxiety in the waiting room together

Just got mine for July 13th!

I've got a friend doing a Grade 7 this week/next week and she still hasn't got her date. I told her to ring up and grumble because I thought the Board takes things like that quite seriously...

It's unlikely to be this week or next week if she's not got the date yet.
They are usually out at least 2 weeks in advance.
If she's worried that it's not arrived whoever sent in the entry will be the person who needs to ring to ask.
