That's really odd cos when you search in Google Earth for "Fleet Hampshire UK", the one near Weymouth comes up! I can see the other one now.... wink.gif

I know, I can't think how Google Earth has managed to get its Fleets mixed up wacko.gif

If I could come to a flute day, I might find out what you all mean by open hole and closed hole flutes and what difference it makes (just interested really)....

Sorry, I cannot make it. Turns out my boss needs me teaching that day as he is away on holiday- so leaving me alone to teach the rabble- probably not right for me to disappear to play the flute (considering it is Maths teaching!)

Sounds like an absolutely WONDERFUL idea! Unfortunately living in the Isles of Scilly has it's set backs as far as legistics are concerned sad.gif I'd love to hear all about it though! smile.gif

Just a random realisation that I'm sure I should be filling a form in or something - did I miss it? Or do I not need to?? unsure.gif don't want to miss out through disorganisation!!

No, it's my disorganisation. I'm not finished term yet, and have had various urgent things to deal with this week. I'm about to turn my attention to setting up the appropriate webpage, complete with form.

If anyone is wondering, the day is definitely going ahead on Thursday 23rd August. The closing date for bookings will be fairly close to the event, so there is no panic (except on the part of the organiser). wink.gif
