Any suggestions for a playlist on the iPod to listen to while doing the workout in the gym

Yeah!

I recommend Dance music. A lot of it is at the same BPM (I think it's about 128), and it's really good for gym work, to sort of get in a groove.

Get thee down to HMV or Fopp and get a compilation (they're not usually too expensive).

I reccomend The best of Euphoric Dance Breakdown or either of the Put Ur Hands up compilations

Definately dance music - it may not be your cup of tea all the time but it's great for getting you going!

Prokofiev or stravinsky - big works or beethoven's fifth. SOmething grand I think!! The bigger the better really!

Whenever I hear the second movement of the Moonlight Sonata, I get an image of Charlie Chaplin on one of those trolley things on the railway lines, trying to get away from the cops or Buster Keaton in the silent films!! I should think this would be a good one for the running machines!!

If you want big and bold, I'd go for the 1812, then to wind down in the jaccuzzi afterwards, I would have the Pastoral (Symphony No. 6). smile.gif
