I am wondering what your favourite wind/brass band pieces you are all playing at the moment/ have played previously?

The name Phillip Sparke or Nigel Hess is usually a sign that a piece of wind band music will be good.

Nigel Hess does some amazing wind music, brings back memories of when I was in Training and Symphonic Wind Bands. I have a CD of his. Lovely stuff.

Windows on the World by Peter Graham is lovely. It was originally written for brass band but we played the arrangement for wind band
