I'm motivated, but it isn't working. I'm running 3 times per week, tennis at the weekend, and being careful what I eat. Managed to put ON 2lbs last Sunday. sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif
Maybe I need to just starve sad.gif

Yipeeeeeeeeeeeee. At last. I have lost 4lbs. We were running in the rain this week, and it's finally paid off.
Anyone else doing any good??

Well, it all went haywire before the hols. BUT, we have been running for 3 nights per week for 3 weeks now, and a long power walk/run on a Saturday. I managed to get my heart rate up to 180 on Saturday tongue.gif So, getting fitter.I have lost 1 lb per week, so 3 so far. I am now under 11 stone laugh.gif party1.gif party1.gif party1.gif party1.gif Have to lose another 13-17lbs.
Managed to get into my sparkly evening dress this last Saturday for a big "do" in London with The Old Man at Battersea Evolution. Looked passable. No, it wasn't red laugh.gif Midnight blue and respectable.
Thanks for asking Miss Ross. How's everyone else doing?

Hmm...I was quite successful once the exams were over (when I've got my head in books for hours on end I seem to just grab the easiest things to eat, which usually aren't particularly healthy ph34r.gif), and I was on my feet a lot of the time until we went back to school. Not so sure any more, but I cycle about 5 miles a couple of times a week, go to a dancing class, and the pantomime rehearsals are quite energetic too! There seems to be less time once the nights are longer though...

Yes, the dark nights are a pest. We are a group of 4 now though, so there is always at least 2 of us to run safely even at night.

Okay. Count me inn!!!!!
I eat shocking! No fruit, no vegetables, no meat and no fish....means pizza, pasta, tomatoe soup and junk is what I live on! It's habit, it's fussy, it's not easy to change: IVE TRIED.
So whilst the healthy eating thing is out the window; i'd love to get fittterr!
I do pe once a week and sport studies twice a week for just under an hour (once you deduct time for getting changed etc). I do hockey on a friday at school, and netball on a thursday for about 40 mins each.
Sooo..more activities to do, its cross country in a couple of weeks and i would really like to do better than last year (8th!) but i don't have enough stamina. So i'm going to work on that and hopefully... smile.gif!
Anyways, thats my goal.

I recall a while ago, there was a group of us that needed to put on weight, and hence formed a club! Not sure how many of us there still are around...

Well, for those of you seeking to lose weight (mass), you are in luck - all you have to do is sit around and make sure not to put on further weight, for the standard for the kilogram is becoming lighter as the bar of platinum/iridium degrades. Actually, weight wait, that means that we are all beginning weigh more as time goes on... Oops! Then again, it's only a few micrograms difference, but every little helps for those trying to put on weight! tongue.gif
