Hey

I was given a careers book by my school which says , with music, you couold consider being:

performer, teacher, music therapist, recording engineer

Also - there is a website - click here to visit it - which shows you what kind of careers you can do and which qualifications you need. Search around there to see what you can find.

You could also check with places like the Musicians Union (and other unions linked with whatever inbstruments you play.) Contact them and see what info they got!

Hope this helps! ph34r.gif blink.gif unsure.gif biggrin.gif

Plenty of things you can do, you could diversify and go into music technology and do the behind the scenes work within the music industry or you could get out there and be seen in an band or such like. Don't forget there is always the opertunity of the Armed Forces as a musician. I know with the RAF the entry required is Grade 8 and an audition. It isn't just about marching music, they provide a huge range of musical skills which you can captalise on at a later date once you leave the forces.

(do apologise for my spelling, I am dyslexic and some days are better than others)
