I've done 9 exams and every examiner has been male (including in my diploma when they both were!). Without exception they've also been old, going bald and English (I live in N.I), if they didn't all have different names I'd be convinced they were all the same person! where does the AB get them?!

3 male, 2 female...
1st one was a man with red hair... I thought he was v. tall but then I was about 3'6" so i could have been mistaken!
2nd one was a very old woman who was tinier than me, and I was only 9 so I was probably still under 4 foot tall!
3rd was a man who looked a bit like Shrek!
4th was a very friendly woman with very red lipstick...
5th was a man with red hair and a beard and green socks!
What a collection!

what, you mean that they would assign genders according to instrument? so all piano examiners would be male?! that's mad! and anyway, all examiners examine every instrument!
