Hi furry
Are you looking to play keyboard or is it a piano substitute you're after? The E303 is quite basic and it might not be able to take you as far you'd like.
If you're looking at playing mostly piano music, I'd encourage you to stretch your budget a little and consider something like the PSR 450 to get started. I know sometimes you don't want to spend too much money on something new but it's better than quickly outgrowing your instrument and getting frustrated or, worse still, giving up as you can't progress.
The PSR 450 should last you up until around Grade 1 standard, or maybe even a little longer if you have regular access to an acoustic piano.
Good luck, and let us know how get on

Hi KB and thanks for your advice.
It is specifically a keyboard I am looking for and not a piano substitute. I just want something that I can play at home to relax and enjoy. A friend of mine who trained as a pianist has offered to teach me the basics as I told him that I was not initially looking to take exams.
I've just had a look at the PSR 450, but it is a bit too far above my budget. I'm currently thinking that perhaps the PSR E403 might be suitable.
I'll let you know how I get on
