Don't practise too much! For my piano grade 8, I practised far too much until my music teacher banned me from the piano for a day - but afterwards, I played much better because I'd had a break smile.gif

Yes i think you can over practice!! just play through a handful of scales and go over your pieces in the morning then do something totally different-then you will feel fresh and ready to give all your energy to the exam!And.....lets carry on the bannana trend-eat one and your nerves will dissapear!!

i just came back and i think (hope) it was ok- for saxophone:
pieces were okish - my accompanist said they were good
scales were good - i could do them all which is really good:)
aural was not great....
i dunno about sight reading

clarinet:
pieces were good
scales were terrible!! i messed out about half.....
aural was okish? not really sure
sight reading was ok.....

the room i was in had really bad acoustics and i could hear an echo of everything i played really loudly....it was really off putting and unnerving.....

so hopefully it was ok, but im not really sure....

thanks
