Can anyone give any tips about the grade 7 test 7d "listening to music with understanding"? are there key things I should be revising? such as typical characteristics of period/styles?

And also, does anyone know the correct term in elizabethan music/renaissance music where it sounds as if the piece is in minor key the majority of the way through and then they end the phrase with a major chord? im not sure if ive described it ok, but its been really annoying me because i know there is a term for it! but i cant find it!
