Brilliant! All I have to do now is cancel my shift at work... easier said than done but this is worth it!

By the way Willobie... do you know if the new Recorder lists are out yet?

I'm going! In one of the sessions there's a solo part of some sort or other, and I've been asked to play it. I may yet regret saying 'yes' if it's fast-and-furious stuff! unsure.gif

The new recorder lists won't be out yet - probably mid-July or something like that, when the new syllabuses generally come out.

Unfortunately I can't make it this time as I have something else on in the morning. sad.gif

I shall have a mad dash across London afterwards, as I'm meant to be having dinner in Cambridge blink.gif

I would have just come along to listen, but I teach on a Saturday.

Ahh, yes, I can empathise with situations like that. I think we'd call it 'having our cake and eating it'. I'm showing a horse on August 5th in Cranleigh, Surrey and then having to dash home in time for a bath etc. to get to a Proms concert in the evening. I'm determined not to miss either event....

Naww, too far away. Will be going to Brinkburn Priory on the 6th instead, to hear Red Priest. My husband's been asked to tune for them.... biggrin.gif

Did you manage to get there?

Sorry I didn't make it in the end. Car bother and a mad dash to Cambridge just meant I wouldn't have got much playing time in for all the travelling sad.gif
