Hey,
I don't have any decent music to play over the summer but need to practice!!!
Know any good pieces preferably jazz for about grd 5/6 standard???

if you want jazz why don't you look at the jazz clarinet syllabus.

they only go up to grade 5 though. have you got James Rae's 40 modern studies? they are good.

yeah i've got 40 modern studies but can already play all the pieces in it so am writing my own music to play~it's not very good though!

You can play all the pieces? They go up to grade 7, so are at a higher standard that what you were asking for

You might like the microjazz 2 book for clarinet. You may already have it but the only pieces that you will probably find of any use are the last few. I am doing one of them for my grade 5 in November but that is on a different board. Try it, they are quite simple but great fun, especially Carthorse rag.

or jsut go to your music shop and look at the jazzy books they have and take your pick! my music shop has a jazz clarinet section which has some good stuff to play.
