Anyone like his stuff? I have his 'Sanctuary' album, but there's a new one out now. Didn't know what to make of it when I first heard about it but I love it now.

Ahh is this the dude that teaches at the Guildhall? I wasn't too keen on his "Sanctuary" stuff when I heard it. There were odd moments when I thought "Ohh this is nice" but then the moment soon passed....I'll have to try and listen to some more of this stuff

Yeh, I agree it's relaxing but I don't get anything from it I would other sax music...if that makes sense lol

I like his stuff too. Enjoyed listening to him at the sax day (RNCM) last year.

I listened to the first piece and thought it was really beautiful. Then the second and thought that was really beautiful too....and the third. Dare I say it? I got a bit bored of it. During the first piece I'd decided to buy the CD, by the end of the set I'd decided not to. To be fair I was really suffering with a horrible cold at the time, so possibly not as open minded as I could have been, and I was tired and wanting to sleep. But I did really, really enjoy Tim Garland / Gwilym Simcock / Asaf Sirkis.

I am guessing that Asaf was the percussionist!? Gosh he did drag on! LOL...I remember sitting there next to saxophonist and both pretending to have guns and shooting ourselves....
