Hi,
Has anyone ever bought anything from Thoman Musicstore (www.thomman.de) ? If so, what sort of experience have you had ?
They are based in Germany, but the website is in English (amongst other language options), and quote in pounds etc.
They seem to have the lowest price for a Murmatsu EX RCE (open hole, C foot, E mech and Offset G) I can find at £1585.25 inc VAT and delivery, I don't think there is any import tax due either from Germany.
The next best UK based price is from Don Mackrills (www.donmack.com) at £1899 inc VAT.
Cheers

My husband has bought guitar accessories from them. He has never had a problem and delivery has been fast (but we're in France not the UK). You don't have to pay extra VAT or customs duties on anything you buy within the EU. I don't know anything about their instruments though.
Hi,
I had a bass recorder bought for me as a birthday gift and they were very good. There seems to be many instruments which are quite good- price and range.
No problems with posting and got here very quickly. Good service.

I'm sure they've been mentioned more than once - worth doing a search. I've only read good things about them.

Ok - sounds like they are fairly reliable etc which isn't a bad "straw poll" considering the abundance of dodgy dealers out there in internet-land.
Cheers all.
