Before I actually go to a store and get one, I have some questions about that bowed instrument:

1) How many octaves lower does the cello have?

2) Should I get a cello tuner? I wonder can I have the bass guitar tuner to tune the cello...

3) Should I use lotsa strength for the instrument?

I appreciate your reply very much. smile.gif

how many octaves lower than what? a bass guitar?
if your bass guitar tuner tunes to an A then you can use that, or if you can change the note it tunes to to an A, then that will be fine.
the amount of 'strength' you use depends on how you want your pieces to sound. different amounts for different pieces....you need a strong right arm to be able to keep up with the bowing in longer pieces.
