I got my results back for AS muisic yesterday... I got a 'C', (seven marks off a b

) but I'm annoyed as the exam let me down... i found it really hard. I got 'a' for both my performance and composition but what looks like an 'e' for the exam. Did anyone else do their as exam with edexcel? how did you find the exam?

I'm confused!

What's the difference between AS and A level???
sbhoa
Aug 20 2004, 02:53 PM
AS is the first half of an A level.
Nowadays most people doing A levels will take the AS exam at the end of the first year of study and 'top it up' in the second year.
Sometimes they take 4 or 5 AS in the first year (lower sixth) and only continue with 3 the following year.

popular music and jazz and music for large ensemble... you? some of the questions for that exam were ok.. but some were bit hard i thought.. i guess i just had a forgetful day (i hope) !
i look at it this way..i was doing it as a side line to my third year of my degree, so im glad i actually passed the as level.. it's something else to put on your cv.
