Do you ever get the feeling that sometimes things just aren't meant to happen? I was supposed to be going to the Dartington International Summer School yesterday but couldn't get there because of the cancelled trains in the west... and today, when some of the services are up and running again, I am feeling really ill so haven't been able to go.
Worst thing is, I can't claim my 500 quid back :-(

if you are feeling any better, could you drive.. the roads were ok yesterday - at least part way, heading southwest ... not quite sure where Dartington is?

It's in Devon - just thinking back ... train to Totnes ? It's ages ago I was there.

I would try to get down there asap if you're feeling better tomorrow. I've been twice and loved it - Bagpuss has done about four I think.
