My boyfriend recently took me to SAX.CO.UK !! It's a huge warehouse, full of saxes!! You are allowed to try out the best in the world in your own private practice room even! I had a blast on a Soprano Selmer Series 3! The sound of the music glided out of the instrument. I've also chosen my next upgrade to my 13 year-old alto! It's just the next one above it, the Professional Yamaha YAS62. That felt amazing to play too!

Any avid sax player should go visit! Shame I dont live any closer to the place! I would be in there all the time Has anyone else visited before?

YAS62, nice choice! That's the one that I have just recently purchased, except I had to send mine back for a repair. I love the ease in which it plays, especially low Bb and B they just come out singing.

Middle and Top C were awful!

After a few plays Middle C sorted itself put but Top C felt strangled and it felt as if there was a resistance! Awful it was..

Got my sax back today..and well problem is still there...along with a scratc on the side of the bell

No, this is through John Packer.....I rang yesterday to check they had received the sax from me and they said they were just awaiting payment for the repairs made on my Selmer Super Action etc... Not good when they don't even know which sax is yours
