Hmmmm, Haymarket's a bit unorthodox, but certainly legal. Does ###### up my MC in three, I'll give you that.

I'll try Spalding to try to get back on track.

YAY!!!!

Waterloo

(I always like that move, it gives you the chance double box, and I think it puts captaintau in knip for 3 moves.)

QUOTE(Phil Dixon @ Aug 14 2007, 04:24 PM) *

Of course not!

This is a game of skill, strategy and cunning. The rules are a bit complex though. I'll post the full rules on here tommorrow.

What happened to the rules Phil??

(I think I posted them on an earlier thread about a year ago)

Ooh, nice move Barry!

Hmm... I think London Bridge will open up the triangle. Wayhey!
jod
Why do you lot always make it so easy!

Mornington Crescent

Grrr...

Edgware Road (Bakerloo)

get out of that one! laugh.gif
littlelady87
A triple! Good one.

Hmm... Can I have Euston Road? Or does that invalidate the horizontal shift?

No, that's OK. It's a pity for you that I can now have Mornington Crescent from that move, but you can't have everything. laugh.gif
littlelady87
Grr.

Barry I raise my hat to you.
littlelady87
IOk, I'll start: Old Street
Devil_Fiddler
Hmm, bold... Well, think I'll chuck this one in and see what it does...

Kings Cross
littlelady87
You can't just 'chuck' them in! Don't you have a game-plan?

King's Cross, hmm...

Got it- Holborn!
Devil_Fiddler
I like to be urm... experimental ph34r.gif

Well if you're going that way, then I suppose...

Tower Gate
littlelady87
Now, THAT's good. Tough one...

I'm going to cut the square with the Jenkins 3rd gambit (I think!) and plump for New Cross.

Ha! Beat that!
jod
I think I can do that

Someone else will have to clarify if that's legal. I'm not sure. Just in case it is, Terminal Two!

Oooh, not sure it is... staying in the same station, calling it something different....

*reads rules*

Yes, that's allowed with these rules, but I can move to Kew Gardens from that, which should make it tricky for all of you! laugh.gif
littlelady87
Not really... Mornington Crescent!
janexxx
As a change...how about a round of "Matinville Croissant".

Don't forget that under French Rules the mention of any main-line station will cause the succeeding player to miss a turn, or go on strike!!

Pigalle

Pont Neuf

Get out of THAT one!
jod
Gare St Lazare

now the next player misses their turn!

I am obviously out me depth here.

Moves traversely out of spoon by the very devious move of Place de Clichy which puts me so far back I am struggling here.

That's a little Rive Gauche don't you think??

Ok so I'll go
Saint Germain des-Pres

(there is a slight problemette to this game, in that we can never actually get to Mornington Crescent without recall to the Ancient Nautical Rules, thus enabling a parabola via Gare du Nord and Waterloo on the Eurostar...we will of course have to invoke this before November when the new St Pancras links become valid otherwise we will be in poop for ever)
