It's great to look for long-lost people but just a reminder that not all "lost "people actually want to be found.
A guy at church recently did manage to track down his long-lost brother and he was livid. He'd been trying to get away from his family for years and didn't appreciate his brother finding him. Result? Distress on all sides.
That is why, personally, I favour something like the Salvation Army or another of the groups that do this professionally and make careful checks to ensure everyone's happy with the notion of being put back in touch before it happens.
Not wanting to dampen your enthusiasm but just warning that, sometimes, these things don't turn out quite as you'd hoped.
