A volcano is hot enough to melt shoe polish, and then, as it erupts, spew the melted shoe polish out amongst the lava and ash, the polish possibly having mixed with some of the other melted rocks in the volcano, forming a new rock of shoe polish mixed with molten lava: Shova Lash....

You can use a paint pot to paint a disc with different colours in rings - then when you spin it, it looks really beautiful. Reminds me of my younger days with whip and top and coloured chalks!

holepunch has the prefix hole and hole and hole sounds the same as whole. # looks like a sharp sign. A sharp sign is to do with music and so is a whole note. Therefore # and holepunch are related.
