The versions I can find have an alternative violin part, so you can have piano, violin/clarinet and viola.
I want one with an alternative clarinet part, so you can have piano, clarinet and viola/clarinet.

I /know/ this exists as I've played it.

Has anyone else come across this edition? I have no idea who it was published by and finding that out would probably make it a lot easier to find a copy.

Thanks,
T.

One of my favourite bits of Mozart !
I have played it with clarinet or violin, piano and cello. But the cello/viola parts is easily adaptable.
I guess the cello/viola part would play on a second clarinet, but would have to be transposed.
Sorry I dont know of a published version.

Yes, the version I played had the second clarinet playing the viola part.

It was a published edition and had the usual clarinet, viola and piano parts, plus the extra "clarinet pretending to be a viola" transposed part.

The only versions I've come across recently offer clarinet/viola/piano plus a "violin pretending to be a clarinet" part instead - which is handy for string players, but not what I'm looking for. I can always transpose it myself if I have to get that version, but I'd prefer to get the other.
