After months of technical problems, my ISP is being cut off - it's going out of business. So, we desperately need a new account with someone.

I thought I read somewhere that Pipex were taken/about to be taken over by Tiscali? May be wrong there though.
I've got Orange. If I was to start over again with broadband, I wouldn't use them though.

Talking of Tiscali, we've got no complaints about them. (Excellent customer service, I must say - they actually knew what I was on about!

I've got Pipex too...no problems so far.
We used to use Demon for dial up and they were really good.
Equally, we have Toscali for broadband and they are ace, but they take a while to set things up as they use a different setting or something weird like that....

Have Tiscali with free weekend calls - great customer service when our router didn't work with the laptop. No problems with main computer.

Our internet went off on in the middle of December last year and we didn't get it back for around 4 months because they basically just couldn't be bothered to send someone out - we just had to call India everyday

Yes, more than once.
Have found BTInternet to be generally satisfactory.
Found out that it'll be cut off on AUGUST 30th!!!!!!!!!!(and it'll be down for about a week
