I am from Singapore. Just wondering how much is it to rent a studio for exam practice? The music school where I am going for exam charges me S$20 for rental of the studio - duration is only 1 hour. Is this reasonable?

coz when i did my piano exam (grade 8)...though in Hong Kong... the person said i had to pay more coz i was grade 8

It depends on the place and where you are I suppose. I pay 10 pounds sterling for an hour.

Mine is in one of the music schools. Thought $20 per hour is quite expensive.
I just had my Grade 7 examinations yesterday....not too good though.

I just had my dipAB exam at inspiration music school (Kovan MRT). They charged me $40 an hour for booking the studio...but its a recital studio with a yamaha C1 grand piano (I think its only for dip exams) This is the most expensive one I've booked so far... Yamaha at Plaza Singapura charges $15 for half an hour, the pianos there are quite good but you must book fast coz alot of people take their exams there.. all d best 4 ur exams
