I've just filled in an application form for the Introduction to Jazz Teaching course next year. I applied for the course this year, but failed to get a place. Let's hope I'm a bit luckier this time.

Hope you get on it. A friend of mine did the course in Manchester last year and they thought it was super.

I've applied for the Manchester course. London would be closer for me but the dates clash with CTABRSM. Likewise, I missed out last year, so fingers crossed for this time. Can't wait to have a go! I'm going to a taster day in Bristol in October.

are you doing the CT course as well this year? That's what my friend did - the two in the same year. She had a great time. I did the CT course last year and thoroughly enjoyed it - a great course.

Yes, I'm doing CTABRSM at Bristol this year, so looking forward to total immersion in music/teaching for the next 10 months! I went to a taster day for CTABRSM and almost did the course last year, but quite glad I waited another year - feel I have enough experience now to make the most of it (5 terms teaching)... Glad to hear it was good for you. I've heard a lot of positive comments about the courses, can't wait!

You'll enjoy it. Very informative. There's still things I'm planning to put into action.
