So I just wanted to introduce myself to this forum, I've already enjoyed reading many of the threads about teaching, and hope to join in more now I'm beginning this exciting journey. A year ago I never thought I'd be where I am now, and probably 5 years ago I would have thought 'I'm never going to resort to teaching.' Now it feels like a really exciting and positive thing to do, and I can't wait. Also, having had periods previously where I was working at home, I'm looking forward to those winter mornings where everybody else is trudging off to work, and I can sit with nice cup of coffee and the fire on and wait for my first pupil to arrive.
So now I just have to be patient because I know it takes time to build up pupils to to find one's feet as a teacher.
