has anyone got any pieces that they would like to reccomend to me that sound really dramatic like beethoven's 5th symphony, (the duhduhduh DUHHHH! one) if u know what i mean by that. i love playing dramtic peices.

Liszt's pieces are dramatic in general... there are loads... from different composers...

I'm only at the sight reading level, technically it's way above my head, but I can get to the end now, and it's just so fun to play. The advert really annoys me though cos they cut out bits so the music doesn't fit together properly.
Oh well, I'll just put up with it.

some really powerful pieces from this guy, never played any, but have heard them being played. and beware they are hard, but if you're that keen to play powerful music then it shouldn't be too much of a burden.

Tchaikovsky: Piano Concerto No.1 has a really dramatic opening. wish i could play it (nowhere close to that standard!!) Chopin Waltz in E minor (posthomous) i think is a dramatic piece as well, it goes from graceful legato passages to turbulent chords (em, yeah!)
