The teaching notes recommends a tempo of 80=dotted crotchet for this.
I naturally play it much slower than this (around 66-72 depending on mood!), and feel personally that at 80 it sounds fairly fraught and harassed.
But that's just my opinion...and if it absolutely must be faster then I need to push my pupil to that.
Anyone else have a view?
