I did my Grade 7 exam this Monday.I think I did it very bad performance that day but I really prepared very well for it.

My examiner was very friendly person. When I was called to play scale,I suddenly feel so nervous until I play wrongly. She called me to play harmonic but I play melodic and so on.She call me to play again n gives me chance but I think she will cut me a lot of marks. My pieces was okay but I don't think I show up the soft part because the piano was so hard.I felt very disapointed for it,I thought I can scored very good because I really practice very well for it.I practice 4 hours a day but I think it end up in a disaster.

Sounds like you'll definetly pass. ood preperation always tells through~ and everyone messes up the odd scale. Also the examiner should be aware of, and appreciate what the piano is like~ after all, they have to play it too. Try not to worry about it now, theres nothing more you can do, and fretting wont change you result.
Let us know how you get on, whatever the result (and I sure it wont be bad) , we're all pretty sympathetic~ and everyones messed up exams!

Don't worry.....in my grade 3...the examiner asked for broken chords and I played appeggios and he was like "NO,NO!" And I quikly replayed it properly. I ended up getting 20/21 with the comments..."A little misharp at the chord patterns"

Seriously, don't panic - I was asked to play B harmonic minor (not a hard scale!) in my G6, and played Bmin melodic asc and Bb min desc! Still passed though

) If you get through your pieces ok, you'll have 75 or so marks already....only 25 needed from 60 available!
Best of luck

Hey. Don't worry too much about it. The results usually turn out better than you'd expect! I remember screwing up three scales in my grade 8 piano exam and had to replay them from the start. I thought I was done for. Much to my surprise, the examiner didn't seem to mind- I still managed a 20/21 and there was absolutely no mention about the restarts. Cheer up!

Supposedly...
I've come across a few in my time who seem rather contrary. Not to be discouraging or anything!

Don't worry i did exactly the same thing! it was G5 viola and the examiner asked me to play F min slurred and for some reason it really threw me! i had to start it again and still got it wrong but still got 16 for my scales. Don't worry im sure you did much better than u thought!

RELAX! You'll do well. Hard work always pays. ALWAYS. Nerves are taken into account by the examiners. Almost everyone makes some kind of mistake in the scales. I mean the syllabus- geeez. The examiners are understanding people. So chill. You'll do very well.

Most of the examiners wants you to pass....I remember one examiner failed 70% of my teachers students. My friend got 140 for Grade 4 and in Grade 5(under that examiner) got 91!

You'll be fine!!!!!!!!
The examiner DOES want you to pass. And if they were nice to you, you've got nothing to worry about. It's generally the nice ones that give you good marks!

Of course you'll pass!! I experienced the same thing in Gr 7 piano too....I forgot how to play the F minor arpeggio and replayed them 3 times, all failing but the kind examiner SHOWED ME HOW TO PLAY IT!!! In the end I got 18/21...not so bad though I got 21/21 in Gr 6...
