I see on the new treble recorder syllabus that there is a Treble Recorder Studies book 1 ed by Adams and da Costa which I thought looked interesting, but I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know if it really exists?

Hi Trio...

It's funny you should say that; I went into my local music shop, the South London Music shop in Dulwich, and asked to see it. They didn't have it but apparently it's proving difficult to get hold of, he couldn't even find it on his database!

Would be interesting to see if any websites like B&H or musicroom do it... if I have any joy in finding it I'll let you know.

Maybe it hasn't actually been published yet?

Isn't this the second book on the new sylabi that is proving difficult to get? I would have thought AB would have ensured the books they wanted to use were actually available particularly for Instruments like Recorder.

It is listed in the catalogue at Recorder MusicMail (http://www.recordermail.co.uk/). Go to the new catalogue of Recorder Exam Music. I don't know if they have it but from experience they often have new exam music before anyone else.
