Have got one or two doing this piece and am not 100% sure on which repeats are expected in the exam. Should bar 8b be played before proceeding onto the section AND again once the da capo al fine has been observed or first time 8a and second time 8b? I assume 8b both times as the first section is not to be repeated in the exam.

Suggestions would be appreciated.

I studied this piece with my piano teacher and she said same as you said: 8b both times
