Hi everybody,


Thank you so much for your lovely Get Well card which you all signed and sent to me from Woodford Green. It was a lovely surprise when it arrived this morning.


And a HUGE THANKS to Nicki for sending me all those Chocolate Brownies! You are such a sweet, lovely person. Each one was individually wrapped in foil, then in stiff paper, then again in bubble wrap, so that they all arrived safely and intact. The packaging itself was an act of love!


Couldn't have arrived at a better time because although I thought my health was on the mend it's taken a downturn again, so i'm sitting here confined to barracks feeling rather glum. I was due to go up to London, and have had to cancel it because of my health. So the Brownies and the Get Well card have really helped to lift my spirits.

You're welcome Lots of us wanted to do something for you, and Barry got the card. I would have sent you all the brownies I had made only they wouldn't fit in the box. I bet it took you forever to open those brownies though. It was so funny when I was doing it, as I wanted to send it on Monday, and thought I only had 10 minutes to wrap them before the post office closed. So, that's why some are a bit ragged! And, I didn't want them to break either And then after I dashed to the post office, I found out they closed at 5.30, not 5.
