Hi, everyone! I sat for my first practical exam (Grade 4) in August and I just got the results. I can't believe it, but I passed with 122 marks (MERIT)!

P/s: I got 100 marks for the theory exam I sat earlier in March.

I first posted on this forum a year ago with the topic "Grade 4 - Need Help" and I got lots of helpful advice from many people. THANKS SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO RESPONDED TO MY POST. I really appreciate everyone's comments and advice. I would like to say a special thanks to Suepea and helly burnet for their tips on learning the notes and scale practice. I got 18 marks on my scales, and I must say helly burnet's advice really "clicked".

Passing Grade 4 has given me the confidence to continue learning piano. And at least I didn't disappoint my teacher who is really dedicated and wants to see me succeed.

I really love playing. If I don't play for a day, I'll feel my day's incomplete and I don't feel happy.

My teacher's enrolling me for Grade 5 next year.
